Tim Becker became intrigued with photography during his High School years. He went on to study at the Rochester Institute of Technology and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in photography. During his college years, Tim interned at two local newspapers as a photojournalist. This is where Tim learned the discipline of meeting publication deadlines, providing great images under any situation, and how to always be prepared for his next photo assignment. Tim’s photojournalistic style continues to be reflected in his work today.
After college Tim assisted other photographers for two years, before starting his own commercial photography business: Creative Images Photography. Tim has worked for numerous advertising and public relations agencies and had traveled around the United States and Canada on assignment, for Fortune 500 multi-national corporations.
In 2013, Tim was contacted by Google to become a Google Trusted photographer; certified to produce 360-degree virtual tours for businesses and non-profit organizations for Google and Google Maps. Since that time, Tim has produced numerous virtual tours for area landmarks such as the Hartford Convention Center, The Connecticut Science Museum, Dunkin’ Donuts Yard Goats Stadium, and the New Britain Museum of American Art.
